Dear Ron and family: We are saddened to learn of Kay's passing. You and she have been curling friends for many years. More recently, Kay has generously sponsored "Curl for a Cause" at London Curling Club. It was wonderful that both of you, and Barbara, could attend last year. Dear Ron and family. It is with sadness we noted Kay's passing in today's paper. She was a beautiful lady with many talents. We recall at a social event a few years back what a good dancer she was and obviously from her obit, a stalwart curler. She will be missed by her many friends. Ron We want you to know that our thoughts are with you at this time even though we are not able to be there. We are in Alabama right now. Kay was such a fighter! She remained a fun and fiesty lady through all her problems with her beautiful earrings and flashing smile. We had many great times at partys at Medway. Remeber the day she got Max out on the dance floor with the stripper music playing. I have never had such a good laugh and such a good time. She is a lady who will always be remembered by all who knew her. You will have much to keep with of your life with her. Our condolences Max and Deirdre

Wherever she was and whatever she was doing, she always did it with spirit and energy and a marvelous sense of mischief. Much admired and always remembered.

Mr. Carr (Ron), I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You were one of my favourite teachers (Geography) and of course, basketball coaches. Mrs. Carr would come to some of our basketball games. There was always a big smile and cheery "Hello" from her. She was our own personal adult cheer leader. Undoubtedly, you deeply feel the loss of this wonderful lady that you were privileged to have as a travelling partner through life. May God comfort you and yours in the present and in the future. Condolences to the family of Kay Carr. I was a long-time curler with Kay, she was a great sport and I always enjoyed her stories that she used to tell and also her fine collection of earrings. Dear Barb,- Just home and have just read of your Mother's passing. Jamie joins with me in expressing to you and your family our condolences at the loss of your Mother. I have many fond memories of her when we were in school and fond memories of your Grandparents down at Port Stanley-----a cottage that friends of ours own now.
