Peacefully at University Hospital on Thursday, August 23rd, 2018, Mr. Karl Leo Rauh, of London, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Lisbeth for 58 years. Loving father of Susan Smith (Barry) of London and Michele Rauh of Toronto. Forever missed by his grandchildren: Rachel Smith, Ashley Smith, Natalie Ernst and Nicole Ernst. Karl was a long-time employee of Ford Motor Company, retiring in 1997, and was a lover of travelling, music, soccer, hockey and the theatre. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Woodhull Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Karl are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Very sorry to hear of Karl's passing. He was a very kind man who will be truly missed. Karl was a good friend of my Dad, Werner Hotz, for many years and has been very kind to my Mom also after his passing with visits and phone calls. She enjoyed her conversations with Karl and will miss him very much. Sending our deepest sympathies to your family, from myself, my husband and my Mom.
