Peacefully at University Hospital on Friday, July 19, 2019, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of Donald for 68 years. Dear mother of Douglas (Susan), Donna Mercier, and Susan Van Halteren (John). Dear sister of Ruth Shantz (Leon) and Claire Brooks. Also loved by her eight grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Predeceased by her brother, Frank and by her sister, Lois. Together, June and Don enjoyed teaching dance for many years. As well, June was an avid painter and an expert seamstress. The family extends special thanks to the Cardiac Care Unit at University Hospital. The funeral will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation two hours prior to the service. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In memory of June, memorial donations to the CNIB would be appreciated by the family.

Uncle Don, Douglas, Susan and families. Sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Jean even though she was getting on in age, as we all are. You had many years and I'm sure many fond memories. I'm sorry we will not be able to attend the service tomorrow, as we will be traveling north for the weekend. May God grant you peace in this time of sorrow. Don & Julene Riley
