I am aware a very late message of condolence. Judy taught me when I was in primary school in carnoustie Scotland in 1982. We exchanged Christmas cards and letters annually...I often wondered how I would know she had passed away...I kept sending letters in case she just couldn't send anymore. Very sorry for your loss. I loved getting her cards and updates

I taught with Judy at Oxford Park for two years in the early 70's. She was always such a vibrant, happy person. A couple of times recently I met her at "Doors Open London" and she was still that engaging, positive person. I was saddened to read of her passing. My condolences to you, Arthur, and the rest of her family.

I was saddened to learn about Judy's death. during my teaching days at NMDHS, Judy was attending the school. Her sister, Joyce, was in my classes. I extend my sympathy to all of Judy's family, and particularly to Joyce. I remember well both girls, as well as their parents. Death brings a void which is only the larger loss when it occurs prematurely. Blessings to all.

The heavens shine a little brighter with this news. Judy always brought a positive light into a room here and she will continue to do that, just somewhere else. All the Whiting clan will miss her and the long weekend in September will never quite be the same. God Bless.

I was saddened to hear of Judy's passing. I have such fond memories of growing up in the same neighbourhood as Judy and of sharing a seat on the school bus to Parkhill with her for years, with Joyce only a seat away. In recent years, Ron and I enjoyed visits from Judy & Arthur at our cottage. She helped me to keep in touch with the news from "home". Judy was an enthusiastic, kind and thoughtful individual who delighted in life... an excellent role model for her students and friends alike. She made the world a better place and will be missed by many.

Arthur, having met you and my cousin Judy only 3 years ago, I felt an immediate bond, especially since we shared interests in Genealogy and Scottish Country Dancing. I will miss her kindness, generosity and positive outlook no matter what challenge she had to meet. I will pipe a tune for her passing.

Arthur, Ann and I share in your loss. We remember Judy in our several outings engaging the RAC of St. John's and St. George's No 3. we intermediately recognized her gentle and kind nature which will now rest in the hearts and minds of her family and friends.

Judy and I got our Primary Specialists' Certification in Salford at the University in England in the summer of 1988. With Flo Parvu, we spent our breaks travelling to York and other places in the area. More recently she called me to participate in her hikes and lunches. I was so sorry to hear of Judy's passing. She was a thoughtful person and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Judy & I lived together for 4 years at Somerset Place in London, a city we both taught in. We grew up in the same neighbourhood near Mt. Carmel. In 1971, we travelled to Europe together where we rented a Volkswagon Beetle(stick shift) to get around. One exciting incident was when we parked outside a German outdoor pub/café. It was Judy's turn to drive, so she mistakenly put it in 1st. gear instead of reverse. No-one was injured but a lot of outdoor patrons ran for cover. I have many fond memories of our times together. Arthur and Hodgins' family, I am sorry for your loss. Mary Eileen Carey-Hill

Arthur, hearing of Judy's passing struck me deeply, conjuring up memories of those special times I had dancing with her and the resulting special rapport I had with you both. So sorry. Robert
