Joseph Ronald Hubert Redford

Peacefully, on Friday, May 7, 2010 at Parkwood Hospital in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Linda. Loving father of Christine Radford of London; William (Marsha) of Chicago, IL; Trevor (Sheri) of Vancouver, BC; and step-father of Catherine Ward of Ottawa. Dear grandfather of Victoria Beretta of Toronto; Jillian, Reed and James Beretta of London; Spencer Radford of Chicago, IL; and Parker Mason of Ottawa. Survived by siblings Grace Conway (Don) of Oshawa; Ron (Cathy) of Sewickley, PA; Percy (Shirley) of Ottawa; Jerry (Nancy) of New Paris, PA; Raymond (Trish) of Australia and predeceased by brother Patrick (Doris) of Gatineau, QC. Hugh taught for the Oxford County Board of Education (TVDSB) from July 1969 to January 1997. He was also a member of the Highland Golf and Country Club and the Senior’s Golf Association. Visitation will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. where the memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Private interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
