Peacefully on Sunday, June 25th, 2017, Joe Bernardo, of London, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Maria Lucia Bernardo. Cherished father of Danny Bernardo and his wife Helia. Proud Vavô (Grandfather) of Sandy Bernardo (Dave), and Kevin Bernardo. Much loved Vavô Velhinho (Great-grandfather), of Vienna. He will be missed by nieces, nephews and his extended family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Joe are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Centre – Cancer Program.
