Our loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and nephew, John Wesley Tolton, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 in his 69th year. Born in Owen Sound, Ontario on November 28, 1949 to the late Wesley and the late Margaret Tolton. John will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 44 years, Shirley (née Cove) Tolton. Cherished father of Janice (Chris) Helwig and Steve (Adrienne) Tolton. Also loved by his 5 grandchildren, Taylor, Graydon, Kyla, Cameron, and Amelia. Dear brother of Catherine (Bob) Strong, Brian (Tina) Tolton, and the late Linda (late Neville) Hickling. Dear brother-in-law to Richard (Betty) Cove, Donnie (Hazel) Cove, Betty (late Bob) Hooper, Diane Cove and son-in-law to Nora Cove. He will be missed by his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Julie Colgan and all the staff at University Hospital Intensive Care Unit for all their care. A Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00–4:00 and 7:00–9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, February 16, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of John are asked to consider London Health Sciences Foundation–University Hospital Intensive Care Unit or a charity of your choice.
