Peacefully passed away at LHSC – Victoria Hospital on Thursday, July 21, 2022, John Stanley Brown of London, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Linda. Cherished father of Katrina and Ian (Katrina Padyk) Brown. Proud grandpa of Addylin Brown. Loving brother of Ronald (Mary Ann) Brown, Shirley Foley, Marlene (David) Wright. Remembered by sisters-in-law Judy Kalyniuk, Jo Anne Kalyniuk, Diane Kalyniuk; and by brother-in-law Norman (Wanda Collier) Kalyniuk.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. A livestream of the service will be available for those who are unable to attend in person – registration is required.

John loved wearing bright colours, especially when he golfed. In his honour, by all means, wear your favourite vibrant colour.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the LHSC – Victoria Hospital, 5th Floor Respiratory Wing, Emergency Department and the ICU doctors and nurses for their wonderful support and care of John while he was there.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of John are asked to consider Thames Valley Education Fund, which supports students in need within the Thames Valley District School Board.

Dear Linda and family, I was saddened to hear of John's passing. I am so sorry I wasn't able to be there for John's service. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Warmest hugs of sympathy and support.
I was very sorry to hear about John’s passing. I enjoyed working with him at Beal. He was a caring and compassionate educator and a delightful colleague. My condolences to Linda and the family.
Dear Linda, I’m so sorry to hear of John’s passing. John was always a pleasure to work with. He was eager to join Student Services at Beal and quickly became an integral part of the guidance team. We valued his knowledge of technology and his dedication to serving students. His concern and compassion for students was always evident.

Dear Linda and family, We were so sorry to read of John’s passing. He was a great guy and I remember well our time at Beal . Our sincere condolences to you and family.
We have many great memories from our time together at Saunders and sharing so many evenings with John and Linda. I often marvel at John’s special golf swing. His sense of humour and wit served him well. Our condolences to Linda and John’s family.
John was a fine teacher with a great sense of humour and a quick wit. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Our sincere condolences to Linda and the family.

Dear Linda and Family Thank you for letting us know via Facebook of John's death on July 21, 2022. We haven't seen each other in years, other than through our Facebook accounts. However, we will always have fond memories of our younger years growing up together in Thunder Bay and visiting you and John in London many years ago.
