To Aunt Mary, Terry, Janice and the Mizzen Family, We are very saddened to hear of John's passing. We know it has been a difficult time for all of you, with John's transition to Westmount Gardens. I always think back to our family trips to London- John and I shared a sense of humor and mischief, and just now I am recalling things he liked- his dedication to the Cleveland Indians and his formidable bowling skills. He was a memorable horseshoes partner at Long Point for a young boy who looked up to his Uncle John. John lived a full life and was rewarded with the riches of his family and grandchildren. We may be far away on the map but today we feel close to all of you. We wish you our sincere condolences. Lee, Caroline, Natalie

Dear Aunt Mary, Terry and Janice. We were very sad to hear of Uncle John's passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Growing up, I have many wonderful memories spending time with Uncle John. One of my warmest memories is gathering in the basement with all the Aunts and Uncles each Christmas, all telling tales on the other, with much laughter, while Uncle John hosted. He was quick with a joke, smile and a chuckle. A frequent visitor to Long Point in the summers, he was able to get our more reluctant Dad into the lake for a dip, and we enjoyed bon fires and family card games around the dining room table after our big dinners. He will be missed greatly, but I hope in time, you can find comfort in all the wonderful memories. With love, Laura, Chris and Olivia

Aunt Mary, Terry, Janice and Family .... Although we are many miles away, our thoughts are with you all at this time. I remember family gatherings when I was quite young and then the last one in the early Fall at Springbank Park just a few months before my Mom, Dorothy (or "Chic") passed away. May all your memories help you all at this time. Judy, Paul, Jill (Nicholson) & Family and Rebecca (Roy) & Family.

Dear Aunt Mary, Janice, Terry, and families, I am so sorry for your loss of Uncle John. He was always a good natured guy when he would visit with Mom and Dad. I know how difficult this last stretch of time has been. Once things settle, you will have countless, positive memories of him to revisit when you are missing him. Please know that you are in my thoughts during this difficult time. Sincerely and with sympathy, Jane

Dear Aunt Mary, Terry, Janice and families, Uncle John's passing has saddened us all deeply. He lived life with great zeal and was the ideal uncle for Laura, Lee and I throughout the years of visits to London for Christmas, our travels to and from Long Point, and the many other family gatherings. We always looked forward to these occasions, both for the seemingly endless supply of stories he had about our Dad and their siblings, and to see the good-natured jesting between him and Cliff. We also took great delight in his feigned alarm when Aunt Mary offered us butter tarts, brownies or any other desserts she had made. Although we can't be there physically to wish John a final goodbye, please know that we are there in spirit and that all of you are in our hearts. We hope that you will find comfort in your fondest memories of him during this difficult time. With our most sincere condolences, Craig, Lyne, Sarah, Alex and Evelyn.
