PODOLINSKY, John Michael Sr. – Surrounded by his family and friends at Stratford General Hospital on Saturday March 12, 2011 in his 57th year. Beloved husband and best friend to Debbie (nee Stefina), children John Jr. and wife Cheryl; daughter Susan and partner Andrew Rigg. Beloved son of Helen Podolinsky, son-in-law to Jean Stefina, brother-in-law to Diana and Peter Neumann, Uncle to Jeff, Scott, and Shannon Stefina. He will be missed by family, friends, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Predeceased by his father Anthony, twin sisters, father-in-law Joe Stefina Sr. and brother-in-law Joe Jr. John was a wonderful husband, father, son and best friend to all those he met during his lifetime personally and professionally. Friends and family will be received for visitations at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, Ontario on Wednesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, March 17th, 2011 at 1:30 p.m., Father Rick Dales officiating. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Canadian Cancer Society or Ducks Unlimited, which were John’s favorite charities, would be greatly appreciated.

John was a wonderful neighbour and we will miss his quick humour, soft laugh and lovely smile. Our condolences to both Debbie and Helen and the family at this time.
We will always remember your Johnny as an honourable and devoted man, whose greatest passion was for his wife and children. He was a "Pappa Bear" who adored his "Momma Bear" and cubs and always shone with pride. He will be truly missed.
