GORDON, John “Jack” Underwood – Peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2013 at Glendale Crossing in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Hilda Kathleen Gordon (2010).  Loving father of Paul (Kristina) and Blair (Becky).  Loving grandfather of Katie, Cameron, Eric and Julia.  Dear brother of Barbara Dodson (late Gordon), and predeceased by his brother Bruce.  The family wishes to thank the entire staff of the neighborhood of Westminster at Glendale Crossing for their loving care and friendship.  And a special thank you to Darlene Blommers, who was a loving friend and companion, for all her unwavering care given to Jack.  A graveside service will be conducted at Woodland Cemetery, 493 Springbank Dr., London, on Thursday, August 29th, 2013, meeting at the office at 10:30 a.m.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jack are asked to consider Salvation Army, London, ON.

I have fond memories of Jack and Hilda in their home, working together and with the help of family and Darlene trying to stay in their home as long as they could. They were a wonderful couple. They are together again which hopefully brings comfort at this time. Heather Bedford, retired Case Manager.

Paul and Blair Don and I will always remember Jack and Hilda's many visits to Louisville. Your Dad had such a great sense of humor and was quite a storyteller. I know you will miss him, but I feel he is happier now that he is reunited with Hilda.

We were very sorry to hear about Great Uncle Jack's passing. I know that Aunt Hilda and Uncle Jack are together again and that are both now at peace. Our thoughts will be with you at the funeral.
