Dear Sandra & Ruth, We are so very saddened to hear of John's passing... the loss of a lovely man. His picture says it all... a ready smile and a twinkle in his eye. He leaves behind an amazing legacy in the relationship you have enjoyed and the family that was so important to him. We are saddened to hear of the passing of John Stein, but know that we will meet him again in Heaven. We remember some good memories involving Ruth Gillespie, Marian & Warren Davis, and Alex & Florence Stein. May God comfort you at this difficult time with His many promises.

Dear Sandra...I am remembering the "good ol' days" at Philpott Church in Hamilton....and take credit for hooking the two of you up.....His favourite song that Bob Drysdale and Doug Adie and I sang in the Western Trio was..."When my Lord picks up the Phone"...by Stuart Hamblin...at least now he can speak to him face to face.....no more prayer telephone. May His presence bring you peace....and flood your soul with good memories of times together with family and friends. With deepest love for you and the family....

Dear Sandra -- I was so sorry to hear about John's death. Although I only worked with him for a short time at Heritage College, I have wonderful memories of him and so appreciated his sense of humour and his kindness to me as a newcomer on staff. Dear Jackie & family I know it's been many years but I recognized your dad's name and picture in the obituaries in today's paper. Hopefully you remember me. So sorry for your loss.
