Passed away unexpectedly at Victoria Hospital on Saturday, June 8th, 2013 at the age of 78.  Cherished husband of Ginette for 47 years.  Loving father of Danielle (Denis) and Grant (Kim).  Proud Papa of Matthew, Mitchell, Eric and Kendra.  Dear brother of Maisie, Roy and Bruce.  John will be deeply missed by his extended family and many friends.  A memorial service to celebrate John’s life will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Friday, June 14th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Private inurnment at St. Peter’s Cemetery and Holy Family Mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Mission Services of London in memory of John.

May you be comforted with the fact that the Service to commemorate John's life was so warm and close to everyone's heart. John would have been very proud of such closeness. It was a pleasure to work with John at hydro and know you and he in some activities off the job. I found John not only to be friendly and compassionate to others in his work but to give really good advice. A good man! He will be missed.
