Passed away, with family at his side, at The Village of Glendale Crossing, on Saturday, July 2, 2016, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Frieda Heger. Loving father of John Heger, of Mississauga and Hilde Heger, of London. Loved grandfather of Christopher, Andrew (Jes), Julie Marie and Jody, and great grandfather of Arlo. Dear brother of the late Felix Heger of Germany. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, July 8th, 2016 at 2:30 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Hans are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society of London and Middlesex.

I am very sad to hear the passing of our sweet Hans! My deepest condolences to Frieda, hilde and family. Thankyou for sharing an incredible man with us at glendale crossing on the lambeth neighbourhood! He was so smart, determined, witty and loving. He loved his wife and family so much!! I am so blessed to have gotten to know him as well as you all! I wish I could've said goodbye but my vacation came at the wrong time for that to be possible! I'm really sorry to hear of Opa's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. My family and I are away visiting relatives in England and therefore cannot make the funeral. May the wonderful memories of him leave us with a smile.
