Peacefully at University Hospital on Thursday, October 13th, 2011, Joaquim “Jack” Da Cruz, of London, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Maria da Conceicao. Dear father of Annabella (Angelo) Tavares, Natalie (Alvaro) Santos and Lydia (Jack) Nunes. Loving Avo of Daniel, Christine, Steven, Lisa, Andrea and Paul. Dear Bisavô of Abigail and Myles. Visitation will take place at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street on Wednesday, October 19th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment, St. Peter’s Holy Family Mausoleum. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jack are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation.

Lydia, Natalie, Anne and Family I am so, so sorry to hear this sad news....words alone can't express the sadness that those close to you are feeling .. may you find comfort in knowing that you have friends to support you at this time of sadness. Your Dad was a very Special Person...I will always remember his amazing smile and the sparkle in his eyes. You and Your Family are in my thoughts and prayers.
