We are truly grateful for all the many ways that Jo-Anne and Ginny have been part of our circle of caring friends for so many years. We can only be in awe of the fact that both Jo-Anne and Ginny faced the reality of her illness with such courage and for so long in spite of the challenges life was handing them. We will miss Jo-Anne and her wonderful smile, as well as the very cheerful and positive presence they both exuded whenever we have been together. It was also gratifying to see and feel the bond between Jo-Anne and Morgan, and her calming influence on Morgan prior to her death (two years ago). We know that Jo-Anne endeared herself to her many friends and we will miss her terribly. Our hearts are with Ginny and the families at this time.

Among many other things, her beautiful smile and sense of humour will bel be greatly missed by her family and all of her many friends. My sincere sympathy goes out to Tracy and Tom and all of her grandchildren and extended family, and most of all to Ginny, who has been steadfastly by her side through this long and difficult journey. Words cannot express the feeling of loss without joanne. She was an extrordinary person who loved life, her family, Ginny, children, grandchildren and her friends. She lived life to the fullest, never complained about how she felt even when you could see the pain in her face. She was a strong, loving & caring person who enriched our life and always brought a smile to our face. We will be at a loss without her and she will always hold a special place in our heart forever. Our deepest sympathy to Ginny and to the family.

~ Nancy Hendrickson & Ursula Moore

~ Anne Whalen and Linda Rowe

Our thoughts have been with your family all day. Although we had not seen Jo-Anne in a long time, Pat Neeham kept us updated about her health progress and her life. Jo-Anne was not only our neighbour for many years, she was also our friend. We had never, ever heard one unkind word said about this wonderful woman. The following are just a small number of adjectives that come to mind when we think of her- warm, fun, caring, kind, positve and selfless.Although she has been taken far too soon, the wonderful memories that we have of her will live on forever. She now no longer has to continue the battle to live.
