After a courageous battle, on Friday, June 29th, 2012 in her 43rd year. Beloved wife of Bradley Hodgins. Loving mother of Jason. Cherished daughter of William and Irma Sleegers and daughter-in-law of Marvyn and Donna Hodgins. Lovingly remembered by sisters Angela Sleegers (Eric) and Michele (Pat) Brosnan. Sister-in-law of Brian (Kelly) Hodgins, Bonnie (Steve) Kraus and the late Bruce Hodgins. Dear aunt of Danielle, Christine, Brian, Lee (Shelley), Justin (Tania), Jessica and Kyle. Will also be missed by her great-nephew and great-nieces, and by her buddy “Shooter”. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. George Parish, 1164 Commissioners Road, London, on Wednesday, July 4th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jennifer are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Foundation – Cancer Centre.

We were fortunate to know Jen for many years and I also know her through working at City Hall. She was a beautiful, caring person and she will be missed. Thinking of Brad, Jason and families during this time.

I was very much saddened to hear about Jennifer. She had a millon dollar smile and a heart of Gold. She worked with me as a Purchasing Clerk at City Hall in the 1995-1998 era and I was the director of Purchasing. Jennifer had wonderful work ethics which made my job much easier. I remember when Jason was born. My wife and I express our sympathy to you, Jason and the entire family for your great loss as she was a great individual and will be missed.
