Though separated by years and miles, Jan was a much loved friend of Mom’s; Mom and I are deeply sorry to hear about Jan’s passing. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you; we hope these sentiments expressed by Leo Buscalgia bring you comfort at this very difficult time: “I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love”.

~ Roxanne Strong and Joan Rothwell

It is with sorrow that we received word of the passage of your dear mother. Our deepest sympathies extend to you Richard and Mary Helen and members of your family. Know that our prayers are with you during these difficult times. May each new day bring peace within your heart.

Dear Shel and Family I am so sorry to hear about Jan. Your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Gilles and I both understand how hard this is with our recent experiences, and our hearts are just sad for you. I will always think of Jan with a smile as I remember our trip to Barbados together with her!

I was so sorry to hear of Jeanne's passing. My mom, Margaret Carley, was such a good friend to Jeanne and cared for her so much, and by extension, the entire Carley clan quite naturally loved her too. In all of the times I was with Jeanne, I admired her love of life, her laughter, her upbeat and positive personality and her genuine care and interest in others. I am sure the entire family feels a great loss of this wonderful light being gone. I hope all of you take some comfort in knowing that Jeanne touched the lives of so many and will never be forgotten. My best wishes and healing thoughts are sent from Vancouver to all of you. Sincerely, Jan Carley
