Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Friday, March 27th, 2015, surrounded by her husband and family, in her 88th year. Beloved wife and best friend of David Harry Lamb. Survived by her sister, Gwen Snell, of England. Cherished mother of Susan Fern (Michael) and Janice Krauter (Ron). Special Nana of Robert Peifer (Jodi), Rebecca Peifer (John), Ryan Peifer (Christine), Benjamin Fern (Lisa), Daniel Fern (Julia), and Jennifer Moorhouse (Andrew). Great Nana of Hayley, Jeremy, Cory, Desmond, Isla, Mickey and Zachary. Jean worked at London Life for many years, was an active member of the St. George’s Society – London and was an avid gardener. She was loved and respected by all and was a wonderful wife, mother, Nana and Great Nana. The family extend many thanks to all the nurses and staff at London Health Sciences Centre for making Mom’s last days as comfortable as possible. Also a heartfelt thanks to Dr. D’Sylva for all his efforts and kindness and to everyone at Royalcliffe Retirement Home. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jean are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Lung Association.
