FREW, Janet – Janet Frew, of London, in her 73rd year passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on September 23rd, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Jim Frew. Loving mother of Lesley Ann Frew, of London, Martin Frew and his wife Chris, of London, Aileen Conway and her husband Todd, of Dorchester, and Christine King and her husband Scott, of London. Predeceased by her loving guardians Michael and Christina Campbell in Scotland. Also loved by her 8 grandchildren. Survived by her sister Nan McCluskey, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Ileana and Andrew Ferguson, all of Scotland, and brother-in-law Sam Waters, of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Tuesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Justin’s Parish, 855 Jalna Blvd, London, on Wednesday, September 28th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. The family wishes to extend our gratitude to the VON Palliative Care Team for their professionalism, dedication and compassion in the care of our wife and mother. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Janet are asked to consider the Canadian Red Cross.
