James Vincent Todd Kennedy
February 5, 2018
After a courageous battle with health issues, Jamie passed away suddenly on Monday, February 5, 2018 at his home. Loving father of Adrienne Kennedy and William Kennedy. Dear son of Nancy and Frank Howell-Harries and the late James Kennedy (2015). Loved brother of Sandra Kennedy, Dawna Halls (Bradley), Michael Kennedy and Christopher Howell-Harries (Vicki). Jamie will be sadly missed by his special friend and nephew Matthew Halls along with many other friends and family members who loved him. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior from 12:00–1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jamie are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice, London and would be appreciated by the family. Jamie was a happy and positive person who just wanted the best for those he cared about. He was also a pinball wizard, a talking encyclopedia and a frequent teller of corny but witty jokes! If you knew Jamie please honour him today by SMILING at those you meet. We love you Jamie! Rest in peace, sweet man.

It is with great sadness to have just found out that James has passed away and I believe has gone on to be with the LORD. I remember meeting James at Royal Heights Baptist Church in the early 1980's in North Delta. He had been living on 132nd Street in Surrey. Despite being surrounded by many individuals who were into heavy partying, James took it upon himself to share the Good News of JESUS CHRIST with others. On one high attendance Church Sunday, James brought 13 friends out. Many of those he brought had there lives impacted. Indeed we had many incredible memories together including traveling to Kent Speedway in Washington State, Boris the Tarantula escaping and finding Boris a week later in a package of donuts, the Turkey we cooked and forgot about in the Oven, the plugged up toilet on Christmas Morning in his high rise apartment in London and having to pay a deposit to borrow a toilet plunger from the only convenience store open at 2:30 a.m. on that cold winter's day. Yes, many stories, but the most important story is that James knew the story of GOD's Glory and liked to tell others. I trust I will see James in Heaven but until then he will be missed by his friend Brian.
