Our condolences to Jim's family. Jim hired me on the spot as a snot nosed college graduate in 1980 and showed great faith in me and my potential. I have always been grateful for that and for his friendship and guidance during those years.
We were saddened to hear of Jim's passing. Jim hired me (Ritchie) into audit in 1976 and we were friends ever since. Jim will be truly missed. Our condolences go out to Wendy and Jim's family.
Ron and Terry, Please accept our condolences on the passing of your brother. You are in our thoughts. Sincerely, Maureen and Adrian Guichelaar
Our thoughts are with Wendy and Jim's family at this difficult time. Jim recruited me to Canada Trust in 1977 and we became good friends. He was one of the good guys and will be missed.
Sorry to hear of the loss of your brother Chubs, our thoughts are with you at this time.
Very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I haven't seen him in more years than I care to remember......he was an old school acquaintance (UWO, I think?) and friend who could always be counted on for good company and good times.
Our prayers and thoughts go out to all the family, our sincerest sympathy. We didn't know Jim well, but we took a liking to him when we met him - very nice person.
Jim and I worked together for 20+years at Canada Trust. A great colleague and friend always willing to provide guidance and support. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and the family at this time of sorrow.
Jim hired me into audit for Canada Trust in 1990. He was my manager and a terrific guy. He had a sense of humour and never let the "politics" of audit or banking get in the way of fun. I still remember him teaching me about "claiming stakes" and how horrified I was that the horse he had named after his nephews had to go live somewhere else. My sympathy to Jim and his family.
Sincere sympathy to the Family. Our thoughts are with you. Diane Bill Kelly & Tracey
Bonnie Manders Sincere Sympathy to Wendy and the Hodgins Family. My thoughts are with you.
Jim was a great person to work with. He never got excited and had a good understanding of people. We will miss his smile
Jim (Detroit Red Wings) Hodgins: I will never forget our long hockey talks over the years. Detroit did dominate Chicago over the past few years until this year. I never even got a chance to brag a bit. You have finally earned your own set of wings. Well deserved my friend. I will always remeber you especially when the Hawks play the Wings. You never said a bad word about anyone. You were generous, kind, honest, trustworthy and honourable. You will be sadly missed. Dennis
I got to know Jim during my time with Audit Services at Canada Trust. While he was in Ontario and I was out west, our paths crossed either by phone, email or the rare visit in person. I will remember him for his quiet but outgoing, confident personality, down to earth attitude, cheerful good nature and his intellect. It was an honour to know and work with him.
Jim and I worked together from 1978 - 1992 at Canada Trust. He was always positive and good humoured, the type of person you could be proud to call a friend. My sincere condolences go out to Jim's family and friends. I know he will be greatly missed.
Although there are many miles between us I feel close to everyone now. Jim is now finally at peace. I'm glad Wendy and him were able to be married before he passed as he wished. Our thoughts are with all of you. Love Kim and Dennis

I met Jim and Wendy only once, on September 1, 2010 at Parkwood Hospital. It was such an honour for me to be part of their very special day. Wendy, and Jim's family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
