James (Seamus/Jim) Doyle

Passed away unexpectedly at University Hospital with family by his side on Sunday, March 21, 2021 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Terry for almost 52 years. Loving father of Andrea (Ace), Keith (Candice) and Yvonne. Cherished Pappy of Ceira, Emma, Claire, Becca, Sophie, Luke and Cillian. Dear brother of Frank, John, Noel, Philip and their families in Dublin, Ireland. He will be missed by his cherished friends and relatives in Canada and Ireland. Jim worked at Homeflame and My Fireplace for many years and made many great friends along the way. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Registration is required to attend the Mass. A livestream of the service will also be provided for those wishing to view remotely.

Please note: as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, attendance numbers will be restricted. Please be aware that COVID-19 protocols are in place which may preclude some from being able to attend and masks are mandatory.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jim are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Our heartfelt condolences to Jim's family. My memory of Jim is a kind, funny and a true gentleman. I very much enjoyed having a conversation with Jim and Terry at the dental office. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

It was with great sadness that we heard the news of Jims death on Sunday, We were all very shocked as we were not aware of his sickness, To you Terry and all your family we send our prayers and we are keeping you all in our thoughts, We know this will be a tough time but with Easter coming soon the hope of the resurrection comes to mind and the promise of Jims resurrection where he will be welcomed into our Heavenly Paradise.May God keep you in his arms and send his love upon your family and may you rest in peace Amen.

To us, Shea was a nice quiet, humorous man who like to sit and read and watch his girlies play in the pool at his daughter's Andrea's home We spent many a summer's day with he and Terry and really enjoyed their company. He will be missed.. Our heartfelt condolences Doug and Lynn

What a shock to hear of Jim's passing and my heart goes out to Terry and her whole family for their loss. I had the pleasure of working with Jim for over a decade and the privilege of having Jim and Terry as a friend for much longer. Both my children were in their youth through our working relationship. Now after additional decades have passed, they still have very warm feelings and fond memories of both Jim and Terry. I was very fortunate that Jim was there to keep an eye on the business in-order that we could still enjoy our own family time and travel. Thoughts and comments received since hearing the news include; kind, generous, a good guy, very talented, rising to the occasion and need, enjoyment of life, a very trusted man. A soul that can rest well, we will miss you Jim.
Andrea- I was saddened to read of the passing of your father. I believe I met him once when I was with you. He sounds like a wonderful guy . Our thoughts are with you . You will have precious memories of him when you were young & now with your own kids. Cherish them all. Beth

Terry,Andrea,Keith, and Yvonne and grandchildren. I hope you all, can see a way through this dreadful sadness. I shall miss my brother. We hadn't seen very much of each other in the last few years. I always seemed to be leaving Ireland, a couple of days before you guys arrived. I never thought Shay and I had too much in common, until we spent some time together in Canada some years ago. We were both inclined to see the humour and often, the Irony in situations nobody else could see. I think it's a Doyle thing. He was so much like Dad, a man who enjoyed a good pint of Guinness, who enjoyed listening rather than being listened to. Rest in peace brother. John
