On Wednesday, January 4th, 2012 at Victoria Hospital, Mr. James “Jim” Roberson of London in his 56th year. A loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Jim is survived by his wife Karen (Fisher) Roberson, his mom Ann and the late Jim Sr. Roberson (1989), his mother-in-law the late Ivy Katheleen McCafferty (2004), children Shawn (Lory), Tammy Owen (Shayne), Dawn (Jake) and Jimmy (Christina). Also survived by his siblings Dan (Jacquie), Pat (Janice), Mariann Kurstjens (Arnie) as well as many grandchildren. Jim loved everyone and was never afraid to say “I love you”. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be held on Monday, January 9th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jim are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Program or Hospice of London.

You were my friend first, and a good friend always. You became my brother and no one could ask for a better one. Always caring, always loving. We need a lot more men like you in the world Jim. I couldn't be at your funeral, but my heart and thoughts were surely there as I know you know. This world isn't a better place without you bro, but I feel comfort in knowing you are no longer suffering. God Bless you Jim. You were there for so many, and may you be truly blessed. I love you my friend and Brother.
My condolences to the Roberson family. Camping with all of you was always so much fun and Jim was always a big part of that. So many good memories. My thoughts are with all of you right now. Jim was such a good friend to my dad through camping, darts, and just hanging out. He wants you to know he is thinking of you too.
My heartfelt sympathy to all the family. I took a moment to love and reflect on cousin Jimmy on Monday . His beautiful eyes and impish grin came along with memories of our younger days at the house on Tremont, and camping at Wildwood and other places. Although we have not seen too much of each other since I moved west, you are all in my heart always. namaste Jimmy
Sincere condolences to Karen and family .We both have had the pleasure of knowing and spending time with such a great and loving man ,a man who lived for his family and enjoyed life. Jimmy touched so many lives just by his preasence and his postive outlook on life, may" the love of life " continue in his family. RIP our friend.

I met Jim at a gathering or probably many gatherings in the past years. Jim was a very loving ,friendly person who always smiled. He will be sadly missed from every life he touched.

My dad will be loved and missed by all he and my grandfather felt like family wasn't just family friends were family as well and i know he had many of friends which meant he had lots of family.

A wonderfully loving, and kind person. Jim will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Heartfelt condolences to the family and friends who loved him. The world will not be a better place without him, but his smile will never be forgotten.
My Dad was the best father anyone could ever ask for. There was nothing he wouldn't do for us. He touched many lives and will never be forgotten. He was loved by many and will always be a part of us. Jim you will be sadly missed by many and forgotten by few. "Please forgive me for my loss of words at this time. I will be praying for the family. I like to believe that when we lose someone close to us they still live through us and give us strength. The time you have spent with those you've lost makes them part of you." Jim was a wonderful brother in law through all ups and downs. He knew the true meaning of family bonds. Jim you will be sadly missed by everyone who had the experience of knowing you. We love you and know that you will be happy in your after life. Karen, Shawne, Tammie, Dawn and Jimmy, our thoughts are with you always. We will be there for you.
