James Mairs

June 11, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Mairs, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and Papa. He fought hard with his family by his side. We will remember him as a hard-working, smart and loving man who embraced his Scottish heritage. He was thoughtful, kind, and generous, and loved spending time with his wife, two daughters, Mum, siblings, and especially his granddaughters who brought constant joy to his life. Rest now, Jim. We will always love and remember our lives together. Love always from wife Sandy, daughters Katie (Cameron) and Amy, granddaughters Avery and Emily, parents John (deceased) and Eleanor, siblings Eleanor, Irene, Allan, and Scott, sister-in-law Deb, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends in Scotland and Canada.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709, Wonderland Road North, London, and a service will take place at Woodland Cemetery on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.  Reception to take place at Westview Funeral Chapel following the service. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

“May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. May the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, may you keep safe in the gentle loving arms of God”.
