In loving memory of James (Jim) William Roy Phillips, who passed away suddenly at ‘Seasons Strathroy’ on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at the age of 78. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 42 years, Nancy Ann Phillips (née Cloutier), in March of 2005. Survived by his loving family: son Michael James Roy Phillips, of Calgary; daughter Kelly Marie Stiger and her husband Matthew, of San Antonio, Texas; daughter-in-law Susan Phillips, of Toronto; and by grandchildren Matthew, Sloane and Kathleen, Ethan and Liam, who continually brought him great joy! Also survived by son Greagory Edward Phillips; brother David (Bud) Phillips and his wife Diane, of Huntsville; and sister Helen Bacon and her husband Merl, of Barrie. Jim was a pillar of whichever community he called home and volunteered time and resources, or whatever was necessary, for every cause or event he and his wife, Nancy, were drawn to. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jim are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Sencere condolences to Jim's family. Jim & I worked together for many years & Jim was always very helpful to me. Until very recently we corresponded via E mail on a regular basis.
So sad.. We will remember all the good times spent with you & Dianne
Rest in peace Jim. You will be missed as we treasure our memories of many wonderful times we shared with you and Dianne.
Jim Phillips was my boss at Bell when I moved to London from Toronto. Always fair and fun. Worked with Nancy also. Have great memories. Sorry for the familys loss.

So sad to hear about "Mr P" passing. I have nothing but great memories of him. Making me laugh, cheering me on the ice and off, picking Kelly and I up in the freezing cold after our ski trips. He touched many lives and I will miss him.
Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We spend many years living across the street from Jim and spend lots of happy times with him and Dianne.
We are saddened to learn of Jim's passing. His greatest joy was his family and grandchildren. We regret we could not attend the memorial and we extend our prayers and thoughts to all of you. (former back yard neighbors - the Joyces)
My sympathy to the family and sorry that I will be unable to make the Memorial. Even though I hadn't seen Jim recently I will miss this laugh, smile and his calling me "MacBeth".

Kelly and Family, Jimbo was a wonderfully kind soul who was always so excepting and loving to those around him. He treated us like family and that will be something we can't forget.
