Dear Jo, sorry to hear about your dad‘s passing. I really hope all your wonderful memories will help you through this difficult time. I have very fond memories of many summers, spent in your beautiful back garden and swimming in the pool, your dad always making us laugh and your mom cooking the best meals. What amazing parents. Sending big hugs and lots of love. Looking forward to seeing you next year if not before. Di and family xxx

Jo: I will always remember Jim and Bonnie for their kindness to my entire family. When we emigrated to Canada in 1977 they picked us up in their boat of a Ford Torino at Toronto airport in the middle of the night, we stayed in their basement during the humid heat of a late Ontario summer and they took us to the beach when we weren’t cooling off in the back yard pool. Jimmy introduced us to the TV show Grizzly Adams (!) when he wandered down to the cool basement; corny as hell , but he loved it! Both your parents had a great sense of humor and their daughter inherited it. They will live on through you. RIP.

Dear Joanne, Your dad will always be living on in our minds .When we look around at the cottage and at the place in London,we remember all the fun times. All the laughs playing cards, exchanging silly Christmas gifts ,cruises to the Caribbean, celebrating life’s milestones, your parents were there. The stories that they would tell of the fun they had in their youth…dancing at the Stork Club, Grand Bend and the London Arena. Being camp counsellors at Kitchigami- they all complained about putting on wool swimsuits in the morning that were still wet from the day before. To photographing a whole wedding,as a wedding gift, then realizing there was no film in the camera. He was a good friend. Am positive he is having a boisterous time with those that have gone before him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time Jo.
