So sorry to hear of Uncle Jim’s passing. Although we lived many miles away I fondly remember the regular letters to his mum, which were passed around for us to read at Balmerino. It was therefore little surprise that he was one of the first people that I ever received an email from. I will also remember the many visits to Scotland and how it remained dear to him. He will be sadly missed.
My condolences to you Elfriede. I just found out today of Uncle Jim's passing. Although it's been a long time since we last met I have good memories of Jim and indeed yourself from trips you both made back to UK. He will remain forever in our memories. Iain.
My sincere condolences to you, Elfriede. I have so many happy memories of you and Jim - the wine making, the dancing, the trips to Stratford, Toronto, St Thomas ,Lake Huron and lots of other places- even that park in London. It was good when you visited here too; he loved revisiting the places of his childhood and youth, and talking of his two brothers. I will miss him!
Elfriede & family My sincere condolences. Julie Sert
Thank you both for the happy memories. I still remember the day you got married and you're visits. I always remember Uncle Jim as being kind and an important part of my childhood. Thank you both for everything
