BURNETT, James (Jim) – At University Hospital, on Thursday, April 15, 2010, James “Jim” Burnett of London passed away in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Dunning) Burnett. Loving father of Jim (Julie) Burnett of Kitchener, and Mary (Joe) Marsilio of Michigan. Precious grandfather of Noel Burnett, Nicholas and Jeremy Marsilio. Survived by his sister Betty Chapman and brother Dick Burnett. Predeceased by his parents Don and Sapphire Burnett, brothers Don and Roy, sisters Olive Dreyer and Yvonne Wilson. Jim was a professional engineer in London for 40 years as chief engineer of London Steel Industries and owner of Mardon Engineering Ltd. Visitation will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, April 19, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted at Courtland United Church, 133 Talbot Street, Courtland, on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Courtland United Church Cemetery.
