Peacefully, at her home with family by her side on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, Jacqueline G. Lewis (née Whitfield), of London, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late William A. Lewis. Loving Mum of Meg Lewis (Miletich) and her husband Mike, and Paul Lewis and his wife Jacqueline. Beloved Gran of Toby, Jonquil, Rewa, Willow and Jesse, of New Zealand, Matt and Mya, of London, and Sarah, Mike and Will, of Guelph. Beloved sister of Donna Whitfield, of Burlington. Missed by many nieces and nephews as well. Forever missed by her daughter-in-law Sarah Matheson, of New Zealand. Predeceased by her son Bart Lewis, of New Zealand (1996). Jacqui was the Director of Volunteer Services at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Guelph, and dedicated most of her life to volunteering and donating, receiving a Lifetime Legacy Award from the hospital for her efforts. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jacqui are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, London Regional Cancer Program or any children’s charity.
