It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jackson Dinanath Maniar on Friday, February 10, 2023 at the age of 21. Darling son of Nicole and Dipesh Maniar. Adored brother of Cole Ray Kumar Maniar. Cherished nephew of his Auntie DC, Elise Ray Tremblay.
So many family members will deeply miss their time spent in Winnipeg with Jackson. Great-Grandmother, his Nanima – Phool Dinanathsingh, Great-Grandfather, his Bapuji – Atish Maniar, Bapa & Aajee Jayesh & Tara, RajKaka (Kenzie) Maniar, Mausi Aajee & Mausa Aajaa, Sanjay (Kailey), Chandanni (Vishal) Narine, Vinny Aajee & Sanjay Aaja, Keeshan, Roshan, Darshan & Jeevan Jain, the Pal family, Reena (Steve) and Brennan Taylor, the Vasudev family, Sheila Faiba (Uncle Rene, godfather), Mya & Ruby, Liam Roy, Tika Faiba (Uncle Shawn), Priya & Cullen Meyler & Eba Sampat.
He was also loved by his Ontario family Grandpa Lee, Grandma Lauren & Auntie Claire Tremblay, Great-Aunt Paula Martin (Uncle John Saunders), cousins Alex Martin & Mike Saunders, Great-Aunt Judy (Uncle Bill) Dann.
He had many special holiday memories with Great-Aunt Shirley & Uncle Steve Willing, Great-Aunt Sally & Uncle Richard, Matt (Aimee), Alex (Courtney), Tim & Andrew (Amanda) Phillips.
Predeceased by MotiBa Veerabala Maniar, Nanaji Dinanath Singh (his namesake) and his biggest champion Allison Campbell, godmother.
Jackson attended the Welding Program at Niagara College. Jackson is remembered as kind-hearted, fun-loving and caring. He was a good listener, charismatic and made many cherished memories with family and friends. He could make you laugh. Jackson’s tremendous love for his brother will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will take place Friday, February 17, 2023 at 5:00 p.m., with a reception to follow upstairs. I didn't exactly know or ever meet Jackson, but I too am studying in the welding technician program at niagara college. So therefore, we both were heading for the same type of job that I hope to achieve and I'm sure he was too. So on behalf of myself and the rest of the welding technician students, we'll miss you Jackson, and may you rest in peace 🙏.

My boyfriend was housemates with Jackson for the past 6 months. Seeing Jackson the night before, he was living his best life with his friends. He was loved and I send my deepest condolences, for this sudden circumstance. He will forever be remembered as a caring, silly, and beloved human. I am so so sad to have heard this news. I taught Jackson in Grade 6 and remember all the fun our class had. He loved to joke around and make others laugh. May the memories you have bring comfort during this time.

Although I never met Jackson, his father Dipesh is my good friend. Dipesh always spoke highly of his kids and knowing Jacksons father, I am sure he is a fine man just like his Dad.
