Jack Conley Smith

Jack passed away at the age of 81 at his home in London, Ontario.

Loving son of the late John Conley and Ethel Smith. Dear brother of Lorraine Pereira (late Frank), Karen Smith and the late Roy Smith (Anna). Uncle of Todd (Linda), Sherilyn (Karl), Leianne (John), Cristin (Peter), Zoie (Mark), Zachary and Zenia (Marko). Great-uncle of Melina, Madison, Matthew, Symantha, Jack, Kaelan, Wolfe and Elliot.

The family would like to acknowledge Jack’s friends and care workers whose support allowed him to stay in his home along with his loving cat, Jessie. A heartfelt thank you to George, Margaret, Karen, Joy, Pat and Greg, Dr. Spicer, and the many PSWs, care workers, doctors and nurses.

Back in the day, Jack enjoyed driving his 1980 Corvette, “The Silver Ghost Shark”, and sailing on Lake Ontario where many happy times were had. But for those who knew Jack well, his true passion in life was golf. His love of golf was there until the very end, and we find comfort knowing that he is on the greens enjoying a round.

Cremation has taken place. No funeral service will be held in keeping with Jack’s wishes. For those wishing to make a donation in Jack’s memory, please consider a charity of your choice.
