So sorry to hear of Isabell's passing. She was a great lady and I enjoyed working with her. She led a long and full life and tour memories will be a comfort to you. Sincerest sympathy.
My sympathy to Isabell's descendants. She was the third teacher I met on coming to Sarnia as her husband, Bob, took me over proudly to Queen Elizabeth II to introduce me to her. Later, of course, we had many associations. She was always an educator in every capacity in which she lived. Isabell would recognize that as a compliment.
please accept my condolences. Isabell & Bob were our neighbours when we first moved to Stone Court and we remember them with fondness for their kindness to our very young daughters. Isabell has left a legacy of service to education and will be remembered for her dedication to her profession.
I served two terms on the School Board with Isabell and I am saddened to hear of her passing. My condolences to the family at this difficult time. She was very dedicated to the children of Lambton County.
My thoughts and prayers to the family,we were saddened when Isabel left Landmark Village, She always had a smile and wonderful stories to tell us ! RIP Isabel God bless
My sincere condolences to Jim, Janet, Ian and the rest of the family. I enjoyed many visits with Isabell as RTO goodwill member. It was a pleasure to chat with her and learn about her family. She was a dedicated educator and a lady in the true meaning. A legacy for many. She is now at peace.
Jim and family. I am so sorry to hear of Isabell's passing. She was a nice lady and committed to education throughout her years as a teacher, consultant and trustee. My thoughts and prayers will be with you tomorrow and the days ahead.
Dear Jim (Dr. Carter) Your mother was a great lady and I was sorry to hear of her passing. Even after I retired from the Board in 1997 she would stop by to discuss things happening at the Board and of course look at the gardens. I know we can't live forever, however when my mother passed away at 94 I commented to different ones that I felt the longer you have, the harder it is to see them go. My wife Betty Lou passed away in June and she was only 69 and even though her health had been failing, it doesn't make it any easier to have to say goodbye. Be thankful your mother was able to live life to the fullest even though she dealt with several personnel tragedies through her life. My Deepest Sympathy, Gerry
Dear Dr. Carter (JIm) and Family: My sincerest respects and condolences to you and your family on your loss. Mrs. Carter was a fine lady....and contributed greatly to the the education system of Sarnia-Lambton. Her former students are forever in her debt. With Sympathy, Mario L. Moscone , Sarnia,On.
Isabel and Bob where neighbours when we lived in Brights Grove on Lisa Cres. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. Sincere sympathy Carol,Allan Morwood in Petrolia.
This has been a difficult week. Grandma: I know that it was your time to go, and feel comfort in knowing that you were ready. My Grandma taught me many things. She had a strong belief in how education had the power to transform lives. I am proud of her commitment to every student, including myself. I have great memories of the fun times we had when she taught me how to crochet and knit and do all sorts of arts and crafts in the summer time. She was clearly multitalented in so many ways. As an adult, we had many chats and laughs on the telephone and in person and I could tell that she was so proud of me. In my thirties I inadvertently picked up her passion for gardening, as my Uncle Jim and Grandma Molnar inadvertently passed along their passion for cooking. I feel blessed to retain a part of such talented genes. This week I lost Isabell and Elizabeth, my other dear Grandmother. While remembering Elizabeth I viewed a picture of my Dad holding me as a baby, looking so proud. I saw Isabell's eyes and smile glittering with pride. To my dear Grandmothers, you are loved. And you both shall be missed.
