Irene Margaret Cooper

I was a neighbor of Irene's when she lived in West London a few years back, and I always enjoyed our conversations and remember how much she enjoyed her furry friends, and how proud she was of her boys. My sincere condolences to her family. She will be missed.

We met Irene in 2008 when we became neighbours in a new condo complex in northwest London. As years passed the neighbour relationship became one of good friends. She and Bailey would stop in for a quick hello and a catch up of the news of the day on their walks around the complex. Her fierce intellect and love of a good debate resulted in many fun memories that will help mitigate the profound sense of loss we are experiencing. We shared a passionate interest in many things, not the least of which were the fortunes of Adam Scott and Rory McIlroy who we will continue to cheer on in Irene's memory. Our condolences to her family. She was a good one. We will miss her.

It has been a honour to know Irene.! Her positive honest no nonsense attitude was inspiring. My condolences to her sons that she spoke of often with pride. Thank you God for giving us people like Irene.

I got to know Irene when she moved into the Apartment Building, and it became apparent that we had at least ONE thing in common... our accents! I found Irene to be a highly intelligent and sophisticated lady, with a strong sense of devotion to her animals, and more importantly, a devout believer in her faith. She would come up and visit with me and we oft times would have a glass of wine, and take trips down memory lane to the land of our births. She was an incredible and genuine lady, and I will miss our chats. I know you are up in heaven looking down on us, but rest assured I will try my very best to give your precious Meghan all the care, love and attention that you had given her, and if I falter, I am sure you will guide me. God Bless you sweet lady and rest in peace.

Irene lived in the same Building that my husband and I resided. We did not know her very well, but found her to be a very lovely and sincere lady. We were saddened when we heard of her passing. We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to her boys.

Irene was a regular visitor to our building, providing fantastic and well needed pedicure services. Even after she had her knees done, she recuperated quickly and was back to business as usual. A lovely lady to chat with and a pleasure to have in our home. We are sorry for her sons who lost a wonderful Mom. Our sincere condolences.

My sincere condolences to Irene's family. I became acquainted with Irene at Westmount Presbyterian Church where we were both part of bible study groups which we both enjoyed. She was a delightful interesting person, always the perfect lady. She added to our group discussions with her insightful questions and inquiring mind. I have missed seeing her through this COVID-19 shut down of Church. When Church opens again there will be an empty seat at the end of the pew where Irene sat, always with a sweet smile on her face no matter how she felt. I will miss her.

We only had the pleasure of meeting Irene a handful of times. She was a delightful woman to chat with. Our thoughts and prayers are with Steve and Andrew

My deep condolences to Irene's sons and family. I am so sorry for your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. Irene and I often sat in the same row at church and it was a true privilege to talk with her. She had such a positive and inquisitive personality, and she was so involved in all aspects of church - always finding ways to be of service to others. She contributed so much to her neighbours and community. There are many people who have been impacted by her service and who are grateful to have met Irene. She will be greatly missed.

I met Irene, when she managed the outpatient clinic at SJHC. I always enjoyed her warmth and administrative skills.My condolences to your family.
