Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Parkwood Institute, London, in her 88th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Leslie Johns for 68 years. Dear mother of Leslie “LJ” Johns and his wife Glynis. Cherished Nana of Arwen, Bronwyn and Liam Johns. Memorial service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Inurnment at Woodland Cemetery, London at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
