Dear Fran and family. I am so saddened to learn of Bert,s passing and wish I could be there to express my sympathy in person. He was my favorite brother in law and I think back to all the wonderful times Clarke and I spent with you. Your home was always the first choice for Clarke to visit and I certainly always agreed. I have been thinking of Bert Planning your second home in St Marys so that you could have more family come to visit. How typical of his generous sense of family . Love Alberta

Sending our sincere condolonces to the entire McAuley family. We just learned of Bert's passing this evening, and we are quite saddened to hear of the news. We think and remember on him with fond and happy memories, recalling good times, friendship and much laughter in times spent together in Chatsworth. If we would have known, we definitely would have made an effort to attend and share memories. He was definitely the kind of man one would never forget as he made a lasting impression!
