I am shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Henk, who was so recently very active in the provincial election campaign. Henk has been such a stalwart through so many of our London North Centre campaigns, always quiet, efficient, self directed and effective in getting the job done. We will miss him and his devotion to the cause. Know that many have been touched by Henk's exceptional humanity, many savoured his gentle humour, were inspired by his example - that many of us are sharing in your grief. Marilyn

Margaret Mae...my heart goes out to you and the family in the loss of Henk. Having lost my husband Brian in 1994, I understand your pain. It is not an easy road ahead, but I trust God's love and support will be there for you, as will family and friends. From what I knew of Henk he was very gifted, very caring, and gave of himself to others. He will truly be missed by many, especially you! Take care of yourself. Sending you healing love! I'll be in touch. Vicki

Henk was a man of incredible drive and energy. Right to the end he had projects on the go and balanced this with the great care and love he showed his wife. He had great curiosity and love of life and his time here was not in anyway wasted. He was loved and will be missed by the many people he touched. Mike Lucas

Ian and family. I'm so sorry to learn of Henk's sudden passing. I had the pleasure of volunteering with him at the KSS choir events. Henk always had a warm greeting and smile for all the volunteers. He will be missed. May your memories be a comfort to all of your family in the future. Sincerely, Grant Wren
