Passed away peacefully at Westmount Gardens LTC Community, on Friday, February 7, 2020, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Earl Hughes (1980). Loving mother of Scott (Irene), Grant (Shirley), Karen (Jack), Brian (Julie) and Nancy (Jack). Cherished Grandma of 14 grandchildren, and treasured great-grandmother of nine. Dear sister of Jean Hilton (late Herb). The family extends a special ‘thank you’ to the staff at Westmount Gardens for the loving care they provided to Helen during her stay there. Cremation has taken place. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Celebration of Life that was to be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London has been postponed until a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Helen are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Scott and family-So sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. She was a wonderful lady and we know that she will be sadly missed by all. Helen never forgot a date, and remembered our anniversary for many years. She will be fondly remembered by us for the many anniversary cards we received from her. We know that you will have many cherished memories, and you will forever keep her in your hearts.
Scott & family-- I'm so sorry to hear this. I count myself fortune to know your family, and I'm honoured to have gotten to know Helen last year.
