Graziella “Gill” Rosalia Sarrasin (née Crevier)

March 9, 1936 - November 23, 2024

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Graziella Rosalia Sarrasin (née Crevier), beloved wife, mother, mémère, sister, and aunt, who left this world on November 23, 2024, at the age of 88. Graziella was born on March 9, 1936, in Kenogami, Quebec, and her life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and family.

Graziella’s heart was as vast as it was kind. She was the unwavering pillar of strength and warmth for her family, a devoted wife to her husband Romeo, with whom she shared a love story that spanned 68 years. Their enduring partnership was an inspiration to all who knew them, and their love for each other remains a cherished example of what true devotion looks like.

As a mother, Graziella’s love knew no bounds. She nurtured and supported her children—Michael (Susan), Denis (Kathleen), Doris (Nick), and Daniel (Jazz)—with tenderness and care. Her wisdom, generosity, and unshakeable belief in the power of family shaped her children’s lives in profound ways. She was a source of strength, always there with an open heart and listening ear, offering unconditional love and acceptance.

Graziella’s role as a mémère was one of her greatest joys. Her grandchildren—Amy (Brent), Justin (Hailey), Kyle (Sarah-Louise), Ciara, Nickolas, Christopher, Chris, Sierra (deceased), Mason, and Riley—brought her endless pride and happiness. Whether through playful stories, warm hugs, or moments of quiet support, she created memories that will live on in their hearts forever. She was also blessed to hold her great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Ashley, with love and affection.

As a sister and aunt, Graziella was a cornerstone of the extended family, a source of comfort, wisdom, and laughter. Her kindness and her ability to make those around her feel valued were unmatched, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Graziella was predeceased by her parents, as well as her brothers Aza, Rene, Gillis, and Lucien, and her sisters Jeanne-Mance, Giselle, Willimine, Rita, and Rolande. She is survived by her sisters Darquise and Jeanne, who will carry forward her memory and legacy.

In addition to devotion to family, Graziella had a passion for baking, sewing, and crafting. These talents were her way of expressing love, whether she was making a homemade treat or creating something beautiful with her hands. Her creative spirit and generosity will be remembered by all who were lucky enough to receive one of her lovingly made creations.

Graziella’s life was a beautiful example of selfless love and unwavering loyalty. She taught all those around her the true meaning of acceptance, compassion, and grace. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten and will continue to inspire her family for generations to come. While her physical presence may no longer be with us, her spirit will remain, carried forward in the lives of all who were touched by her warmth, kindness, and devotion.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the incredibly caring staff at London Health Sciences Centre, as they cared for Graziella and comforted the family.

As per the wishes of Graziella and Romeo, cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at a later date in Red Rock, Ontario.
