Gladys Edna Leigh

Peacefully at Chelsey Park Long Term Care, London Ontario, on October 1, 2012 in her 97^th year.  Daughter of the late Ernest Arthur Leigh and Harriet Elizabeth Elders.  Dear sister of Zena (widow of the late H.L.Beckstead) and Ernest Douglas Leigh.  Predeceased by her brother Ronald Leigh, her sister, Violet Leigh Leclerc (widow of the late Leo P. Leclerc) and her nephew, Peter Leigh.  Survived by her loving compassionate caregiving niece, Nancy Leclerc Milligan, and her beloved nieces Lynda Bingham Caputo, and Donna Leigh Alexander, as well as nephews Robert Leigh Leclerc and Steven David Leigh. Also survived by her great nephews Bradford and Matthew Leclerc Milligan, Ben David Alexander, Michael S. Leigh, Patrick H.D.Leigh, and great niece Monica Leigh Leimbach. Auntie Eddie will be truly missed by all. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, Ontario, on Monday October 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Scattering of the ashes at Oakland Cemetery, London, at a later date. Memorial contributions to Arthritis Medical Research (through London Health Sciences Foundation) would be greatly appreciated.
