Gino Reale
July 29, 1952 - January 28, 2024
It is with great sorrow we announce the unexpected passing of Gino Reale of London, in his 72nd year, on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Gino was a loving and cherished husband for over 49 years to Patricia Reale. He leaves behind a lasting legacy as the beloved father of Natalie Reale (Greg) and Marcia (Jeff) Bouwman, and the proud grandfather of Avery, Irelyn, and Harper Bouwman. Gino is survived by his mother, Teresa Reale, and predeceased by his father, Salvatore Reale, and his sister Marisa. He will be missed by his sister-in-law, Colleen and Bill Carlson of London as well as Bette-Anne and Donald Carlson of Edmonton. Survived by many aunts, uncles, nephews, a niece, and cousins in both Canada and Italy. Gino made a friend wherever he went.
Gino’s life journey in Canada started when he immigrated in 1956. He possessed the extraordinary gift of gab, and he put it to good use early in his career as a hairdresser, and later, in real estate. Gino was a masterful storyteller, carried on his mom’s love for cooking, and could always be counted on for his quick wit and sense of humour. In his younger days, Gino was a passionate musician and loved all things aviation. He achieved his goal of obtaining his private pilot licence in 1993.
Above all, Gino was a devoted and caring husband, father, and grandfather. His true happiness lay in the warmth of family gatherings, accompanied by a generous meal, and enjoyed over laughter. Gino’s memory will forever be a testament to his love for life.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

We will remember Gino and his mother Theresa and father Salvatore with great fondness. They were our neighbors and our good friends got many years. Their kindness and genuine caring will be remembered and cherished always. Take comfort knowing that a part of him lives in in his children and grandchildren. A beautiful legacy to a wonderful human.

We will always have everlasting, beautiful memories forever, with our friend Gino over the 50 years that we had the pleasure of his friendship. I personally, always had fun on our many road trips to the casino, golf outings, poker games, and appreciated receiving his gift for "haircuts for life", enjoying his gift of gab for every minute we were in the chair. We will truly miss him.😎 bruce and angela mcauley...
