I am extremely sad. I moved to Barrie a few years ago and was trying to find an email to email him through to thank him for all the help he gave me at Glen Cairn. He was a really great man who was the funnest to talk to. We have conversations about punk bands. My condlensces go out to his family. No matter how delayed.
Dear family members: we are so sorry for your loss. There are still a few of us at the Multi-Service Centre in Tillsonburg who remember Gilles from the time he worked here in the 90's - adding vigour and compassion to our Employment Services team (and lots of Habs propaganda!). He was a special person. Our condolences, Maureen (on behalf of MSC)

Dear Sharon and family, we would like to express our sincere condolences on the passing of Gilles. We have good memories of Gilles - from removing the snow or leaves at the end of the drive, the smell of your delicous bbq cooking while making sure Shadow didn't retrieve the steak to having great chats and taking some of his expertise advise. He was a wonderful, kind hearted man who always looked out for the best interest of others. Not to mention one of our best neighbours. Dear Sharon and Family I am a close friend of Carole's from about grade 8. I've only met you once at Mary's, after Tom's burial I believe. But I remember you. We were at the funeral service today but I did not want to disturb you by coming over in the foyer afterward. My husband Dave, and I, just wish to extend our deep sympathies to you and your family. Our hearts go out to you in your deep loss and pain. You are all in our prayers and will be in the coming weeks ahead. Gilles was a wonderful man, so full of love, because he comes from a family of love. The service was a wonderful tribute and celebration of dear Gilles. Sincerely, Julie Hansford
