Margaret passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Lloyd Harold Anderson (2010). Margaret was raised in Fernie, British Columbia. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas Gibson Ewart and Jesse Louisa Ewart (Fraser). Devoted mother to Jim (Susan) and Jane Tucker. Loving Nana to Aynsley, Meghan Lemon (Marshall), Gavin (Amanda), Fraser (Heather) and Rachel Tucker (Sean), and Great-Nana to Franklin, Jack and Pete Anderson. Margaret was an accomplished pianist and had a great love of music. She was a proud Canadian but always celebrated her Scottish heritage. Margaret will be best remembered for her gentle spirit, loyal friendship, kindness, and dedication to her family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at Highview Residences for their care and support. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 12:15 p.m., with visitation to occur at 11:45 a.m., before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider making a donation to the London Health Sciences Foundation – University Hospital, Cardiac Care Program.

Our sincere condolences on the passing of your Mom and Grandmother, Margaret. Looking back I realize I have known Marg for about 64 years, since I was a young teenager. I knew them as Lloyd and Marg. They were a special Uncle and Aunt.

Hello Jim, Jane, and families; Very sad to learn of Margaret's passing, and sorry I was unable to attend her memorial service. She and my mother were such close friends for so many years! Jane, Your mum was a sweetheart of a person and such a loyal friend to my mum after dad passed. Your mum and dad were truely my folks best friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls. Love Tom & Becky
