Peacefully at Country Terrace Nursing Home, Komoka, on Sunday, July 15^th, 2012, George Robert Patterson, of London, in his 96^th year.  Beloved husband of the late Gertrude (Elliott) Patterson (2009).  Dear father of Keith Patterson (Lise) and step-father-in-law of Mona Elliott.  Loving grandfather of Laura Patterson (Timothy Young), Matthew Patterson, and step-grandfather of Cheryl Gillard (John), Sheila Moloy (Dwayne), Shelly Harpell (Fred), and the late Daniel Patterson (Andrea Pole).  Brother of Stanley Patterson (the late Viola) and brother-in-law of Helen Smith (the late Bob).  Predeceased by step-son Allen Elliott (1987), sister Doris Brown (the late Howard), brother Earl Patterson (the late Ruth), brothers-in-law Borden Elliott (the late Esther), Ellesmere Elliott (the late Opal, the late Betty), Charles Elliott (Mary, the late Jean) and sister-in-law Bess Smith (the late Bruce).  George’s family would like to thank the staff at Country Terrace Nursing Home.  The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, July 18^th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Interment, Woodland Cemetery.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of George are asked to consider the Children’s Health Foundation.
