It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of George Fredrick Langley on Thursday, August 22nd, 2013 peacefully at University Hospital at the age of 85 years. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Evadel, son David (Susan) and forever in the hearts of his many extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Goodwin and Annie Langley and his brother Earl. George was a member of the Huff n’ Puff Seniors Club for many years. He had a very generous heart and loving spirit. A Kellogg employee for 34 years, he was also very involved in hockey and baseball, playing for many years as well as refereeing. Special thanks to the entire emergency team at University Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. A celebration of George’s life will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, August 26th, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Jim Redpath officiating. Private family interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Del, You are dearly loved by the church family at Knollwood. We do not know what tomorrow holds but we do know WHO holds tomorrow. And, we stand with you upon the promise of God's Word- "Absent from the body...present with the Lord"! Be assured of our love and prayers for you and your extended families during this unexpected and very difficult time.
