Dear Eileen and family: Please knoe that though I never had an opportunity to meet you, I knew George. He signed my Certificate of Proficiency in Radio , May 14, 1975 -- that was when I was living in Wawa. Further to that I knew George because of amatuer radio activities in the Wawa and Sault St Marie area until 1980. Recently, I had the great pleasure of seeing george again at Tuesday morning coffee sessions at Cherryhill Mall -- George participated with a group of London amteurs for converstaiont and coffee. Please know that George was a very special person and I have great memories of respect for him and for his willingness to share knowledge about "all things radio". There are many "hams" in Ontario who are truly sorry to lose George. Please know that my thoughts are with you and all other members of your family. Sincerely, Ian Seddon, London, Ontario

Dear Eileen, Bonita, Blair, and family, please accept my sincere condolences, and our prayers. I had the pleasure to work and learn much from George over many years, he was always a very kind, patient and gentle man who left a good, lasting impression on everybody who met him. Find comfort in that he now rests in eternal peace. Wish I could visit to pay my respects. Gerard near Ottawa.

Dear Eileen! I just read George's obituary in our paper and remember him with fondness each time that I went to visit and study with you. He was such a great family man and I would make a point to chat with him at the Greyhound games. Cancer is such a devastating disease and it's so sad to see your loved ones suffer. Do be steadfast in your faith and convictions that George is continuing to enjoy his life elsewhere without illness or pain. Love from a classmate and friend. Kathy Gallop

Dear Eileen and family, I am saddened about George's passing. George fought cancer with much diginity, courage and strength. He did so well with all his treatment for so long. He never complained, or asked for very much. I always enjoyed chatting with him and you, Eileen. He was a kind, quiet man that I will remember very fondly and I will miss him. Eileen-You were a great support to George throughout his cancer journey. Please know that I am here if ever you need to talk. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family as you move forward. Please find comfort in all the wonderful memories that you created through the years with George. Kind regards, Nurse Nancy

Dear Eileen, Bonita & Blair, Our thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. George was a wonderful friend to our Dad, Ed, for many, many years. Our late Mom, Betty, and Dad enjoyed lots of fun times with Eileen & George along with their wonderful friends Yvonne & Art Seymour. We know too well the sadness that you are feeling. We also know that with time the sadness will become a little less and you will find much joy in some wonderful memories of your loving husband, Dad and Grandpa.
