Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, on Friday, October 26th, 2012 in his 86th year. Dearest husband of Carol Windsor (née Laughlin). Loving father of Janet Windsor, of London, Diane Pascoe (Eric), of Raleigh, North Carolina, Wendy Windsor (Robert Durkee), of Vermont, and Elaine Steele (Rob Woods), of London. Proudest Papa of Jessica, Keilan, Kevin, Meredith, Steve and Braden. George was an Army Veteran of WWII, and then dedicated 37 years as a Sales engineer with Armco Steel Corporation. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial reception will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of George are asked to consider London Health Sciences Foundation – Cancer Centre.

I will always remember George as a great friend and mentor. I have fond memories of spending many a Saturday afternoon with George talking about our careers and family. God has certainly taken one of his best. Sincerely Gary
Carol, it was just a couple of weeks ago we had that great talk. I'm glad that you came by to see me. We have known you and George for so long and have many great memories of him and his "dry" humor.
