Peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, March 18th, 2014, Frederick Wood, of London, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Rita. Dear father of Dieter “Derek” (Melva), Angela Desjardine (James), Gordon, and Kevin (Karen). Loving grandad of Benjamin (Jade), Toby (Tira), Jessamy (Paul), Claire (Scott), Casey and Braden and great-grandad of Marco, Francesca, Chelsea, Lukas, Brody, Liam, Taylor, Abbey and Finley. Brother of Leonard (Peggy), Rosetta Leadbitter, Doreen (Don) Harris and Derek (Valerie). Frederick was a proud member of the Royal Berkshire Regiment in England during WWII. The memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, March 29th, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Frederick are asked to consider the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA).

So very sorry for your loss. Fred was a lovely man.
My deepest, sincerest condolences to Rita, Kevin, Angela, and Gordon and family. My thoughts are with all of you. My fondest memory of Fred will be his voice. The one time I had the chance to hear him sing, it was stunningly beautiful.
