Florence Martha Stauffer

Passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Erich (2010) for 27 years. Dear mother of Fred Horvath, Florence Masters (Gary), Tony Horvath (Lynn) and Dorothy Stauffer (Brian). Florence was blessed with seven grandchildren: Michael Horvath (Kim), Steven Horvath (Brandi), Jennifer Horvath (Don), Julianna Martin, Joyce Cziraky, Mark Horvath (Stephanie), Matthew Horvath (Jenna), and many great-grandchildren who adored their “big Grandma”.

Florence was loved by her siblings, all predeceased: John Schweertman (Sue), Fred Schweertman (Rochelle), Ruthann Sederington, Ed Schweertman (Grace), and Roseanne Schweertman. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Florence was a nurse and loved to care for people. She was a strong supporter of the Canadian Legion for many years and attended the United church in Winfield, B.C. and London, ON.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Florence are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
