Esmat Aiad

Our beloved Esmat Aiad passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 in London, Ontario.

Esmat was born in Alexandria, Egypt. He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering and went on to have a successful career as an entrepreneur in the technical field.

Esmat leaves behind his wife, Eng. Marcel Kadis; their daughters: Eng. Engy (Eng. Amir), Dr. Marianne (Eng. Wadie), and Dr. Jacqueline (Dr. Mina); sisters: Dr. Mary (Eng. William), Mrs. Afaf (Dr. Nagy) and Dr. Samia (Dr. Samy); brothers, Eng. George (Dr. Noha) and Dr. Atef (Mrs Amal); and many nephews and nieces.

Grandpa Esmat will be particularly missed by his grandchildren Emma, Emanuel, Daniel, Mark, Peter, Paul, Rita, and George.

On Friday, November 24th, 2023, we celebrate Esmat’s life, starting with the Divine Liturgy from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m., followed by the Funeral Prayer from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., at the Coptic Orthodox Church of St. Paul, 1151 Royal York Road, London. The burial will follow right after at Woodland Cemetery, 493 Springbank Drive, London.
